HOW TO IMPROVE LEG EXTENSION - Do not cheat. Ever. It might give you short term satisfaction, but it will be clear that you don’t have proper technique at an audition, and you could actually even injure yourself. - Get a Thera-Band. Lie down on the floor and battement your leg towards you. Hold it in place with the Thera-Band. Then bend your knee while doing this, then straighten it again. Repeat for as long as you like. This is better than using your hands because you get more resistance. - Splits! Make sure that if you have your split down, you focus on getting your head to touch your leg. If you can do that, put something (not too high. You can work your way up) underneath your front leg. - Straddles! Try to make your face touch the floor with your back flat. - Grab the heel of your foot and stretch it out to the side of you. Remove your hand and slowly lower the leg. This works your core.
 Remember to always stretch both legs. You don’t want to be lopsided. If you do these stretches everyday, I guarantee your extension will improve dramatically in a month.
